CHARLOTTE CARIBBEAN FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION (CCFA)

 Our Mission

The mission of the Charlotte Caribbean Festival Association (CCFA) is to develop, teach and promote Caribbean arts and culture in Charlotte and its surrounding communities.

Our Vision

Our vision is to enhance diversity in the Charlotte region by sharing the rich culture and traditions of the Caribbean through educational workshops, music, and traditional performances.

About Us

CCFA has been producing an annual Caribbean Festival in Charlotte, North Carolina since 2000.  The Festival and colorful Parade has attracted thousands of spectators and vendors from cities as far away as New York, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, Washington, D.C, New Jersey, and Virginia.

The Charlotte Caribbean Festival is a family-oriented cultural event with live entertainment, educational workshops, children’s activities, and authentic Caribbean cuisine.  The Street Parade showcases colorful handmade costumes, authentic steel pan music and traditional dance performances.

Over its 10-year history, the Charlotte Caribbean Festival & Parade has attracted nearly 40,000 spectators and vendors.  The Charlotte Caribbean Festival has received support from a small group of local and national businesses, community organizations, family-owned businesses, and individual supporters.
